Consulting Philosophy
We view compensation as an exchange of value. The economic laws that
govern compensation are simple. Increases in compensation need to be
offset by increases in productivity. If they are not, one or more of
three negative outcomes will occur... higher prices to customers, lower profits
to shareholders, or loss of jobs to employees. Collectively, all of the
people in an enterprise must make more value than they take for the enterprise
to survive.
We also view compensation as a powerful communicator of
corporate culture, mission, and objectives.
