Every human society since the beginning, has had to deal with questions concerning the distribution of wealth.  In our free market society, one of the prime mechanisms for managing the distribution of wealth is through compensation systems.  

Compensation systems accomplish two things... The establishment of appropriate pay levels for various jobs; and, the management of pay growth and earning opportunities for employees that are tied to business objectives.

Our Consulting Philosophy
We view compensation as an exchange of value.  The economic laws that govern compensation are simple.  Increases in compensation need to be offset by increases in productivity.  If they are not, one or more of  three negative outcomes will occur... higher prices to customers, lower profits to shareholders, or loss of jobs to employees.  Collectively, all of the people in an enterprise must make more value than they take for the enterprise to survive.

We also view compensation as a powerful communicator of corporate culture, mission, and objectives.  

With these thoughts in mind, we work with our clients to establish competitive levels of pay; and to fashion pay growth opportunities for employees that are based on the accomplishment of business objectives.
